I’m running for State Assembly because I’m tired of hearing my neighbors tell me they think the California dream is out of reach.
Homeowners and families struggling with skyrocketing costs for everything from groceries to child care, renters frustrated by soaring rents and feeling locked out of their hopes of owning a home, our schoolchildren falling behind. Sacramento politicians looking out for themselves and special interests, not the people they represent.
I’ve worked full-time since I was 16 and I’ll work full-time for our communities.
I’ll bring my experience as a mayor, councilmember, and business owner to deliver on behalf of residents. In the last 8 years our city reduced homelessness, improved affordability, prioritized public safety, addressed infrastructure needs, and supported our small businesses. As your Assemblyman, I’ll work every day to ensure better opportunities for families, that the California dream remains in reach, and every child has access to a quality public education – just like I did.
I’ve never been afraid of a little hard work and together, we’ll put Sacramento to work – for us.
